About Me …
Malaki Elijah Frazier is a native of Chesapeake, Virginia. His musical journey began at the age of 3 years old when he came home from a church service and started playing a song on the piano he heard during praise and worship. He then began ministering with the praise and worship team at the age of 9 and is still ministering today. His classical violin education began in the studio of Mrs. Christina Morton. He additionally started playing in the orchestra in elementary school and continued throughout his high school education under the tutelage of Fine Arts Chair Martin D. Glasco. While attending Western Branch High School, he was a part of the Bruin Sinfonia and the Chamber Orchestra. Subsequently, he alongside his classmates were afforded the opportunity to play at Carnegie Hall in April 2018. After his graduation from high school, he continued his musical studies at Tidewater Community College. He is a classically trained violinist who holds an Associate’s degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Music Performance from Tidewater Community College in Norfolk, Virginia. He loves all genres of music, especially Gospel and Jazz. He loves God with his whole heart and is the minister of music at a local church. It is his desire to continue the journey in music ministry through all the gifts God has given him.
